Working principle:

Only strong and durable chambers and lids can safely maintain high pressures. As the temperature increases and the chamber restricts its space, only the pressure becomes stronger. This process brings the steam in the chamber above 110°C.

Purpose of use:

Not all living things suffer severely from high temperatures of 110°C. Some organisms are able to resist heat due to their structural protein walls. However, no microorganism can survive from excessive 121°C steam. Therefore, autoclaves are designed to ensure a sterile environment in all fields of life and science.
